The Hume Police District are alerting property owners in the Yass area (Mountain Creek Road) to recent sheep theft.

The Rural Crime Prevention Team are currently investigating the theft of 60 full wool Merino Ewes, heavily in lamb, that were stolen between 7am Monday 8th March and 4pm Thursday 20th May 2021.

The missing sheep are ear marked, with a ‘W’ cut out of the point of their left ear, are 2 years old and have a Green PIC (Property Identification Code) tag in their ear right ear.
