There were some huge victories for the Yass Redbacks this weekend, with a 7-0 win by the Senior Women’s side the pinnacle of that.
Playing Weston Molonglo at their home ground, the Redbacks were aided by a hat-trick from Victoria Alley and goals from Alison Mclucas, Hollie Massey, Melanie Bullock and Jacinta Murphy.
The Women’s Reserves side had a close 2-1 win over Majura FC after a brace from Belle Green.
The Community League Men’s side lost 5-3 to Gungahlin with two goals from Bryn Skelton and one from Ryan Young.
The Under 18’s tied with Radford College 3-3, the Under 15’s made light work of the Belwest Foxes 11-2. The Under 14’s told a similar tale in their 8-3 victory over Majura FC.
The Yass Redbacks Senior Men’s and Reserves sides were playing last night, with the game starting after the time of print.
