Christmas in July is coming to Bowning. The Bowning Hall will host the Christmas in July Ho-Down on July 30. Local musicians will be playing various tunes ranging from country, old-time, classics and favourites to encourage your dancing boots. With line calls and reels, we will warm your soul. A two-course dinner is included but it is BYO alcohol.
The event will kick off at 4pm and finish around 9pm. Prizes will be given for best Christmas attire, best hat, best boots and a door prize. Bookings are essential (no door sales) as we need to know numbers for catering.
Bowning is also running its monthly Trash and Treasure markets on Sunday, July 17 from 10am to 3pm.
We have room for nine indoor stalls in the warm Hall and plenty of outdoor space. Stall holders can book a place by contacting us at bowninghall@yahoo.com. All funds raised go towards the ongoing maintenance of the Hall.
