Brahmans – Max Giles, Craig Phillis, Nate Lalliard and Ben Boyton.

The Binalong Rugby League Football Club held their annual Christmas Party at the Binalong Community Club on Saturday 5th December 2020.

Brahman’s Secretary Ali Spencer was pleased with the roll-up, “Given the rain this all looks good for 2021 and as a club we are trying to keep up the interest.”

The Brahmans have recruited well in the off-season and are hoping to bring home a couple of local players for the men’s team for the new year, especially Jack Paton and Will Goode, both these players were with Gunning in 2020.

Also hoping to win back Lane Gaudie from the North Canberra Bears. Ali Spencer commented: “We have al ready been doing some light training on week nights as we have a few new girls for our League-Tag next year and we plan a 2021 season launch at the Murrumbidgee River near Australia Day next year”.

The inclusion of Cootamundra Bulldogs in 2021 will make life interesting as no one knows what sort of strength they will bring with them.

It seems the Bulldogs are unable to comply with Group 9 requirements of a reserve grade team and as a consequence won’t be eligible to compete in that group.

Also, the inclusion of Young’s Burrangong Bears will further confuse the competition, especially in league-tag as the Bear’s girls are the current George Tooke Premiers.
