Eligible businesses in town are encouraged to register themselves on the Dine & Discover NSW campaign to help boost local economy, as Yass residents are now eligible for the $100 vouchers.

The Australian Hotel Yass Venue Manager Emma Heiniger said it was a great incentive to encourage the return of dining in.

“To encourage people to come back to establishments and to put money back into local businesses, is great,” she said.

“In comparison to last year? To go from lockdown to now being able to have more patrons, it is now absolutely amazing.

“It’s such an enjoyable experience too, to be able to see familiar faces and it really makes everyone’s day being able to interact again.”

So far in the Yass Valley Local Government area, Café Dolcetto, Kaffeine 2582, Clubhouse Hotel Yass, The Royal Hotel Yass, The Australian Hotel Yass, Yass Bowling Club, Thunderbird Motel Yass, Clementine Bakery and Trader & Co are on the Dine NSW list.

For Discover NSW, The Travel Compass is registered on the list.

Yass residents can now apply for the vouchers through the Service NSW app by entering their address and then hitting the “Apply online” button.
