September 16th, 17th and 18th will see Yass coming alive with colour, music, poetry, dance, Celtic Markets and all things festival.
There will be a surprise event on Comur St on Saturday at approximately 10:30 am.
Gather in the vicinity of the Yass Post Office.
There is a focus on FREE family-friendly events in Banjo Paterson Park Saturday and Sunday. One of the attractions on Sunday is Circus McCabe, with half-hour classes + three half-hour shows, stilt walkers and more. See the “Big Top” in the park.
A jumping castle, live music, multiple market stalls and dancing displays. The Junior Fleadh is also free, for ages 5-8 years, 9-12 years and 13+ years.
Whistle, ukulele, fiddle and dance. (See add) lunch will be provided for the students on Sunday prior to their showcase concert at 12:30 in Lovat Chapel.
Sponsored by the Irish National Association Sydney. A special event is a concert at Lovat Chapel on Friday 16th @ 7:15 pm A concert titled “Songs For Annie” is a fundraiser for Yass Can Assist. Tickets at Comur House, Adults $20, Youth 12-18 years $5, Under 12 free.
Tickets for the festival can be purchased via the website/Facebook or during the festival in the office, located in the Memorial Hall Annex.
Cash or Eftpos. The “All Stars Show” Saturday Night, $20 and the “Community Showcase” $15 Sunday afternoon will also be available as a once-only ticket, also available during the festival.
