The Binalong Brahmans’ up and down start to the 2022 George Tooke Shield season has continued, following an 18-0 loss to Boorowa Rovers away from home.

The Friday night game in Boorowa proved too much for the Brahmans as they now slip to a 1-3 record with a points differential of -58, with finals football looking a long way away for the men in blue and gold.

Justin Corkery scored two for the hosts, whilst Nicholas Stephens and Blake Anderson both crossed the line for the Rovers.

Binalong will be hoping to improve their record and etch a second win on the board in their 2022 campaign against the Crookwell Green Devils this weekend.

Although it will be no easy challenge, as the Green Devils have started the season nicely, albeit conceding a loss to Harden Hawks last Saturday. Binalong will face Crookwell at Crookwell Memorial Oval on Sunday afternoon, with kick-off slated for 2:30pm for the Round 5 clash.
