The Binalong Brahmans will host the Coota Bulldogs in both grades at the Binalong Rec Ground this Saturday, April 23.

The Jersey Girls will be taking on a stylish Coota outfit who defeated the Gunning Rooettes 36-0 on April 9, before the Easter bye held on the weekend. Kick off is at 1:00pm.

The lads will clash at 2:15pm with a younger Bulldogs outfit set to take the paddock against what is a competitive Brahmans side.

The Bulldogs look to be going with the younger brigade and the likes of Grant Boyd, son of the famous Les Boyd, and a host of other older players who have not had to strap the boots on yet this year.

They chipped in last year as they waited for some of the Bulldogs juniors to mature and be ready for first grade.

It appears this has occurred and that only a host of major injuries would see the older gents between the ages of 35 and early 40s having to pull the boots on.

Regardless of the outcome, the Brahmans will head to Boorowa for round 4 the following Saturday. Boorowa put it to Harden in a game where the scoreline didn’t reflect the effort from both sides the week before the Easter bye.

Coota will be back at home against competition lightweights, the UC Stars, who were defeated 44-0 by Harden at UC in the first round.
