Bowning’s Rollonin Café is holding a trash and treasure market on Sunday, December 12 from 8:30am to 3pm.

Just ten minutes from Yass, the market will largely be offering second-hand items and will be sure to have some hidden gems.

Talented country musician Bev Stokes will also be providing some tunes while marketgoers peruse the stalls.

Rollonin Café owner, Renata Ryan said she wanted to try and organise an event before Christmas since so many markets and other similar events were cancelled due to the pandemic.

But Renata said it may be weather-dependent due to the high volume of rain we’ve had recently.

“I’m hoping it’s a good day.”

The stalls will be spread out on the front lawn and around the back of the café. If you wish to participate you can contact Renata through the Rollonin Café Facebook Page or directly through the café on 02 6227 6507.

“I’m hoping it’s nice weather, and everything falls into place,” she said. Depending on the number of stallholders that participate Renata said she may expand the market into the café’s carpark.

Renata has been running the café for the past 13 years and the property, which includes the house and café, is currently for sale.

Rollonin Café is open Thursday to Sunday from 8:30am to 4pm.
