Less than 100 days till Murrumbateman Field Days

There are now less than 100 days till the Murrumbateman Field Days on October 15 and 16.

The Murrumbateman Field Days have been running for over 40 years and are ideal for both experienced rural residents and those dreaming of making a tree change, it makes for a great weekend with something for everyone to enjoy. Families can plan their day for a country experience with the whole family.

The event usually attracts about 20,000 people, including exhibitors and volunteers and is an initiative of the Murrumbateman Progress Association.

Unfortunately, the 2020 and 2021 Field Days were cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic alongside many other Field Days across the state.

The last Field Days held in 2019 received approximately $1.5 million in visitor spending, according to the Yass Valley Council’s estimates. That figure doesn’t consider the ripple effect on the rest of the Valley from the influx of visitors to local pubs, cafes, motels, and petrol stations.

Fingers crossed 2022 will be the year for the Field Days to make their comeback after a hugely successful one-day Yass Show earlier this year.

Join the Murrumbateman Fields Days 2022 Facebook event page to keep up to date with the latest information and buy tickets when they go on sale.
